Arguably, this is one of the most elegant iPad stands ever created. The Magnus Stand is a magnetic stand made from pure aluminum – machine cut. It only fits the iPad 2 as the original iPad doesn’t have any magnets built into its sides.

Normally, I’d never consider spending money on an iPad stand, but the Magnus Stand is just too sleek to ignore. If I owned an iPad 2, I’d totally drop my dollars on one. It should be heavy enough to not topple over. From the images, it doesn’t look like it’ll be useful in portrait position, though.
